PATRICOVA#
PATRICOVA is the Territorial Action Plan on Flood Risk Prevention in the Valencian Community. Through this plan, various information is available in relation to flood risk.
Flood dangerousness#
Flood dangerousness is defined as the probability of occurrence of a flood, within a given time period and in a given area.
There are 6 levels of hazard, ranked from 1 to 6 from highest to lowest hazard and a seventh level of geomorphological hazard.
Visualization#
The areas are displayed in a colour pattern:
- Dangerousness 1. High frequency (25 years) and high draft (>0.8m).
- Dangerousness 2. Medium frequency (100 years) and high draft (>0.8m)
- Dangerousness 3. High frequency (25 years) and low draft (<0.8m)
- Dangerousness 4. Medium frequency (100 years) and low draft (<0.8m)
- Dangerousness 5. Low frequency (500 years) and high draft (>0.8m)
- Dangerousness 6. Low frequency (500 years) and shallow draft (<0.8m)
- Geomorphological dangerousness
