Forest fire risk index from Junta de Andalucía#

Forest fire risk levels, based on the Forest Fire Weather Index (FWI) calculated by AEMET, are determined using data from its network of synoptic and automatic stations, as well as the CEPPM model (ECMWF). These calculations are adapted to the specific conditions of the Andalusian territory, considering factors that influence fuel availability, such as vegetation state and forest fire monitoring. The classification system, ranging from 0 to 4, provides an estimate of potential fire dynamics and the complexity of their control.
