Install ARGOS as an app#
ARGOS can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your mobile phone or desktop, offering a range of benefits that enhance your browsing experience:
App-like Interface: PWAs look and feel like native apps. They offer an app icon that can be placed next to your other frequently used apps, providing easy and quick access.
Full-Screen Navigation: PWAs provide a superior user experience with full-screen navigation, free from the distraction of the browser search bar.
Convenience: Forget about remembering URLs. With a PWA, you can access your favorite site directly from your device’s home screen.
Save Credentials: PWAs allow you to store your login credentials on your device, eliminating the need to remember and enter them each time you visit the site.
How to install?#
The installation steps are very straightforward, but differ based on the Operating System:
How to install on Android#
Open Chrome and go to https://app.argos-emergency.com
Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap “Install app”
In the new dialog, tap “Install”
How to install on iPhone#
Open Safari and go to https://app.argos-emergency.com
Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen
Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen (If you don’t see the action, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you’ll be able to select it from the Share Sheet)
Type a name for your site link. This will be the title that appears beneath its icon on your Home screen
Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen.
How to install on Windows/Linux/Mac#
Open Chrome and go to https://app.argos-emergency.com
Move your mouse to the top right of the address bar and click the screen icon with a downward arrow
In the new dialog, click “Install”
